About Greener Pastures

Founded by Chris and Candice, Greener Pastures was built on a shared love for animals and a deep understanding of the bond we share with them. We know that the word “pet” often doesn’t fully capture what they truly are - family.

Losing an animal who has been part of your life is deeply personal and can feel overwhelming. After experiencing this loss firsthand, Chris was left disappointed by the level of care and service provided during the cremation process. That experience led us to create something better.

Greener Pastures was founded with one simple goal: to provide a more compassionate, respectful, and dignified service for families during one of the hardest times in their lives.

We consider it a genuine honour to care for your beloved animal and to help you through this stage of their journey. Every animal entrusted to us is treated with the same care, respect, and compassion as if they were our own.

Our practices are centred around dignity, transparency, and integrity. We are committed to being there when you need us most.

We proudly care for pets in Northern NSW and South East QLD. If you are just outside these areas, please still reach out - we will always do our best to help where we can.

Our Promise

Our promise is simple: to care for your pet as if they were our own. From the moment they are entrusted to us until the moment they return home, they will be treated with gentleness, dignity and respect. Our peaceful farm setting provides a quiet place for your pet to rest while in our care.

We understand the enormous trust you place in us. Every pet is carefully identified and tracked throughout their entire journey with Greener Pastures, and our individual cremation process ensures the ashes returned to you are your pet’s, and your pet’s alone.

Above all, we promise to never lose sight of who we are caring for. Your pet was a loved member of your family, with a life, a personality and a story of their own. We aim to have them safely back home with you within 7 days, with a 24-hour return service also available where possible.
