These Terms and Conditions apply to the services provided by Greener Pastures Pet Cremation (“Greener Pastures”, “we”, “our” or “us”). By engaging our services, making a booking, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. OUR SERVICES
Greener Pastures provides pet cremation, collection, transportation, memorial products and related aftercare services.
We will make every reasonable effort to provide our services with care, dignity and professionalism.
2. BOOKINGS
Bookings may be made online, by phone or by email.
By making a booking, you confirm that:
• You are authorised to make decisions regarding the pet. • The information provided is accurate and complete. • You agree to these Terms and Conditions.
3. COLLECTION AND TRANSPORT
Where collection services are included or arranged, Greener Pastures will make reasonable efforts to collect your pet at the agreed time.
Collection times may occasionally vary due to traffic, weather, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
4. INDIVIDUAL CREMATION
For pets booked under an Individual Cremation Service, your pet will be cremated individually and their ashes returned to you.
Greener Pastures maintains identification procedures throughout the process to ensure the correct ashes are returned to the appropriate family.
5. RETURN OF ASHES
We aim to return ashes within 7 days.
Timeframes may vary due to public holidays, operational requirements, equipment maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.
6. MEMORIAL PRODUCTS AND KEEPSAKES
Keepsakes, urns and memorial products are supplied subject to availability.
Natural variations in timber, engraving, colour and materials may occur and are not considered defects.
7. PAYMENT
Payment is required prior to cremation, after the booking has been confirmed and invoiced.
Greener Pastures reserves the right to withhold the release of ashes and memorial products until outstanding balances have been paid in full.
8. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Requests for cancellations or refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Once cremation has commenced, refunds cannot be provided.
Customised or engraved memorial products may not be refundable once production has begun.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
While every reasonable care is taken in providing our services, Greener Pastures’ liability is limited to the value of the services purchased.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
10. WEBSITE INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on our website is accurate and up to date.
Prices, products and services may change without notice.
11. PRIVACY
Personal information collected through our website, booking forms or communications will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We will not sell or disclose personal information except where required by law or necessary to provide our services.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
