We offer both an Individual Cremation service, where your pet is cremated individually and their ashes are carefully returned to you, and a Collection & Cremation Only service, for families who choose not to have their pet's ashes returned.
With our Collection & Cremation Only service, your pet is treated with the same care, dignity and respect throughout the entire process. Following cremation, our team will respectfully scatter your pet's ashes in a peaceful setting, providing a gentle and meaningful final farewell that honours life.
-
Yes, absolutely. We offer collection from your home or your veterinary clinic.
Simply let us know where your pet is resting when completing your booking form, and we'll arrange collection from the address you provide. Our team will handle your beloved companion with the utmost care, dignity and respect every step of the way.
-
That's completely okay. The choice of who cares for your pet after they pass away is always yours.
If your veterinary clinic normally works with another cremation provider, simply let them know that you would like Greener Pastures Pet Cremation to care for your pet instead. We can liaise directly with your veterinary clinic to arrange collection, making the process as simple and stress-free as possible for you.
-
Greener Pastures Pet Cremation is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
We understand that the loss of a pet doesn't happen on a schedule, which is why we're here whenever you need us.
Unlike many pet aftercare providers, we do not charge additional fees for after-hours, weekend or public holiday collections. The compassionate care your pet receives—and the price you pay—remains the same, no matter when you need us.
-
Simply give us a call and we'll arrange to collect your pet as soon as possible. We understand this can be overwhelming and our team is always here to provide guidance and support.
If your pet passes away late at night, gently wrap them in a clean blanket or towel and, if possible, place them in a cool area of your home, such as a tiled floor or air-conditioned room. Keeping your pet cool helps until we can arrive. If your pet is small enough, you may also wrap them in a blanket and keep them in a refrigerator.
If you're unsure what to do, please don't hesitate to call us. We'll provide guidance and arrange collection at the earliest opportunity.
-
Your pet's ashes will be carefully returned to you in a sealed, secure and clearly labelled bag to ensure they remain safely protected.
The sealed bag will then be placed inside either our complimentary scatter box or the urn or keepsake you have selected. This allows your pet's ashes to remain protected while also giving you the flexibility to transfer them to another memorial item in the future, should you ever wish to do so.
-
Yes, absolutely. You're welcome to provide your own urn or memorial keepsake for your pet's ashes.
Simply let us know when making your booking, and we'll ensure they are carefully placed into your chosen urn.
-
To ensure the highest quality ashes are returned to you, we do not cremate blankets, toys, collars or other personal belongings with your pet.
However, we understand that many families wish to include a final tribute. We are happy to cremate small, natural and biodegradable keepsakes such as fresh flowers, handwritten letters or cards with your beloved companion.
If you're unsure whether an item is suitable, please don't hesitate to ask. We're always happy to discuss the best way to honour your pet while ensuring the cremation process remains safe and respectful.
-
We understand this is one of the most important questions you can ask, and we're committed to providing complete peace of mind.
At Greener Pastures Pet Cremation, every pet entrusted to our care is treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Your pet is individually identified throughout every stage of the process using a strict identification and tracking system, ensuring they remain with their unique identification from collection through to the return of their ashes.
We are committed to transparency, integrity and the highest standards of care, so you can have complete confidence that your pet is in safe hands.
-
At this time, we do not offer witnessed cremations. Please be assured that your pet will be cared for with dignity, compassion and respect throughout the entire process.
If you'd like to learn more about how we care for your pet or how we ensure your pet's identity is maintained throughout their journey, we're always happy to answer any questions.
-
We understand how important it is to have your beloved companion back home as soon as possible.
In most cases, your pet's ashes will be carefully returned to you within 7 days of collection. We'll keep you informed throughout the process and contact you to arrange a convenient time for their return.
If you require your pet's ashes sooner, please let us know when making your booking. We also offer a 24-hour return service (subject to availability and an additional fee) for families who need their companion returned home as quickly as possible.
-
Payment is required prior to your pet's cremation. Once we've received your booking request, we'll confirm the arrangements with you and provide an invoice for payment.
Receiving payment before the cremation allows us to confirm your selected services, memorial products and return arrangements, ensuring everything is carried out exactly as you have requested.
If you have any questions about payment or need to discuss your circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're always happy to help.
